Estimates are generated using aggregated data from contractor surveys, RSMeans construction cost data, and the Remodeling Magazine Cost vs. Value Report, adjusted for city-level labor and material indices.

Remodiq is an informational tool only. It does not provide construction services, employ contractors, or facilitate any transaction between homeowners and service providers.

3. Estimate Accuracy & Limitations

All cost estimates generated by Remodiq are approximations for planning purposes only. Actual renovation costs depend on many factors that our calculator cannot fully account for, including but not limited to:

• Current material supply chain conditions and local shortages
• Individual contractor pricing, availability, and experience level
• Local building codes, permit requirements, and inspection fees
• Custom or non-standard design choices
• Seasonal fluctuations in labor demand

Remodiq estimates carry an accuracy range of approximately ±15–30%. Always obtain at least three written quotes from licensed contractors before committing to any renovation project.

4. No Professional Advice

Nothing on Remodiq constitutes professional architectural, engineering, legal, or financial advice. Our estimates are generated algorithmically and are not reviewed or endorsed by licensed contractors, architects, or engineers. For any renovation project exceeding $10,000 or involving structural, electrical, or plumbing work, we strongly recommend consulting licensed professionals in your jurisdiction.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on Remodiq — including text, data, cost models, design, code, and branding — is the property of Remodiq and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, scrape, redistribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

Personal, non-commercial use of estimate results (e.g., sharing an estimate URL with a contractor or family member) is permitted and encouraged.

6. User Conduct

• Attempt to reverse-engineer the pricing model or calculator logic
